Familiar with the above phrases??

if you do..so do i.. this is the kind of sentence i often utter to my parent..
if they suggested me on doing something..i, as the don't-tell-me-what-should-i-do kind of guy will try to defend or opposed their suggestion..

..but now i realize.. it's easier to said than done.. i'm still fighting for what i believe in.. i don't know if i want to prove them wrong..or it's really what i want to do in my life?..

i'm struggling..right now..i'm still struggling..
